What is the Discovery Airpass?

The Discovery Airpass will allow you to take advantage of the expanded network of routes between Asia's most exciting destinations - at a fraction of regular fares. For the first time ever, visitors can fly economically cheap and convenient around Asia. The participating airlines are:

ADVERTISING AND SALES Discovery Airpass can be sold worldwide. Any IATA carrier tickets can be used provided that Interline Electronic Ticket Agreements with PG / QV and/or J8 exist.
PTA transaction is not permitted.

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
All sectors must be confirmed before issue the ticket.
If payment is not in USD, Bank Selling Rate (BSR) will be used for conversion in local currency.

MINIMUM STAY
No minimum stay is required
Exception: ONE day for Siem Reap (REP). Passengers traveling to Siem Reap are required to stay at least one night in this city.

MAXIMUM STAY
Ticket validity is 2 months from the first travelling date. For reroute or reissue of unused ticket, new validity will be recalculated by based from the new first traveling date.

STOPOVER
Only one stopover allowed per city
For ex: BKK-THS-BKK-LPQ/-BKK-REP-BKK Condition1 --> THS-BKK-LPQ are on the same day: Discovery Air Pass is permitted. Condition2 --> THS-BKK-LPQ are on different day: Discovery Air Pass is not permitted. as we consider "BKK" after surface break as 1 stopover.

TRANSFERS
Unlimited transfers allowed

FARE BASIS
“VPASS” followed by the number of coupons issued. And add indicator /CH or /IN for Child or Infant passenger. Example: VPASS4 (4 coupons) or VPASS4/CH (Child)
NUMBER OF COUPONS PERMITTED
Minimum : 3 Coupons
Maximum: 6 Coupons

COUNTING OF FLIGHT COUPONS
Each flight needs a coupon and total of flight coupons will determine the fare of Discovery Airpass.
Sequential use of coupon : Each ticket must be used in its entirety and in the order which the coupons are issued. Non-sequential use of the tickets are not permitted.

ROUTING
Individual sector must not be traveled more than once in each direction.
Example: BKK-USM-BKK-USM-SIN (not permitted)
Or BKK-REP-BKK-REP-PNH-BKK (not permitted)

CHANGE OF RESERVATION
Permitted free of charge

REROUTING
Permitted at a charge of USD 30.- per transaction plus the change for fare difference if any.
Discovery Airpass may be extended as long as the maximum coupons allowed are respected.
Example: Discovery Airpass of 4 coupons may be reissued into 6 coupons by paying fare difference and the charge for rerouting.

REFUND
For totally unused ticket, ticket can be refunded by deducting refund administrative fee USD60.
For partial used ticket or after first departure, refund not permitted.
(Refund unused taxes for partial used ticket permitted with administrative fee USD60)

TAXES/FEES/CHARGES
Effective date 01APR10, PG Domestic Routes within Thailand fare has included YQ (insurance and fuel surcharge) into the base fare. However, YQ of PG International routes and FT/QV/J8 flight, and other applicable taxes shall refer to the system.
Example: SZB – USM – BKK – LPQ – VTE
SZB – USM (J8) = USD 65 + USD 1.50YQ + MYR 51MY
USM – BKK (PG) = USD 113 + THB 300TA
BKK – LPQ (PG) = USD 120 + USD 24.00YQ + THB 700TS
LPQ – VTE (QV) = USD 65 + USD 10.00YQ + USD1.20LA

DISCOUNTS
Apart from child and infant, no other discounts granted.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
20 kg per person. Charges apply for excess baggage.

ENDORSEMENT
DISCOVERY AIRPASS // VALID ON PG /QV /J8 FLIGHTS ONLY // NO REFUND AFTER FIRST DEPARTURE.
